SADT design studio (pty) ltd was founded in 2023.
The founding members are Shaheem Ryklief & Anwar Ebrahim. Before SADT design studio was formed, the company operated under F&R architect workshop who’m Faghmie Christians was the founding member. Well known, Faghmie Christians having had over 30years in the Architect industry, was a Former Director of world renowned architect company, DHK Architects and made a name for himself in Cape Town, doing from small Projects to large scale projects which included the Cape Town head office for Chartered accountant giants Ernst & Young in Lower long street, (Faghmie was the Project Architect for DHK architects at the time.)
Faghmie had left Architects DHK, and then founded his own company called F&R Architect workshop in 2009. F&R architect workshop focussed on residential projects to Petrol service stations & retail projects. We (Shaheem Ryklief & Anwar Ebrahim) then established a new architectural practice called SADT Design studio (pty) ltd. Both Shaheem Ryklief & Anwar Ebrahim having over 50years experience between the two of them, worked for big Architect practices in Cape Town, including ACG Architects, Munnik Visser Architects, Magqwaka and associates , Gapp Architects to name a few.

Our services include creating as built layouts (old plans are sometimes not accessible from the Local authority -council). The As-built drawing or previous approved plans which Architects see as very important in setting up the New Design Proposal. Other services is a full Architectural array scope which include computer aided 3d, Sketch proposal, SDP and rezoning proposals, interpret Local authority ‘By laws’ and Taking drawings from Inception to Council submission drawings (local authority) to Detailed Construction drawings. We assist with Building supervision and with Building Maintenance.
